Description

A Domestic Couple is required for a family in Marlborough, Wiltshire (SN8) with 3 teenage children plus 3 dogs

This is a position for a couple who are looking to make a long term commitment to their employer & be happy to work as part of a larger team

Start Date: w/c 19/9/25

Hours: 10 days on: Monday – Wednesday (with 4 days off Thursday – Sunday): 8:00 am – 6:00 pm – a degree of flexibility is required

Accommodation: Unfurnished semi detached 3 bedroom cottage overlooking farmland with utility, sitting room, kitchen/diner, bathroom & separate WC.  Council tax & water rates paid.  Bio mass heating (supplied at reduced rate).  Garden & parking.  Will allow pets & children

Duties:

• Housekeeping
• Cleaning & tidying
• Making & changing beds
• Washing & ironing
• Food preparation & family cooking
• Online Shopping & running errands
• Cleaning internal windows & babysitting
• Helping when entertaining
• Dog care including walking, feeding & dog sitting
• Managing the house
• Swimming pool maintenance
• Management of facilities including biomass boiler, borehole equipment
• Liaising with trades
• Tennis court maintenance
• Assisting with gardening
• Driving duties & care of cars
• Basic property maintenance

You must:

• Have previous experience as a domestic couple with checkable references to support your application
• Have an Enhanced DBS certificate or be happy to have one done
• At least one of you be a confident driver (car can be provided for work use)
• Be happy to assist with occasional shoot days – approx. 3 per year
• Be happy to work as part of a larger team
• Have a can-do approach and happy to put their hands to anything
• Have a good level of English
